Wii Fit Still In Top Spot For Game Sales In England: wii Play second

Wii fit still tops the UK sales charts for video games  in sales according to Chart Track.  Wii Play comes in second place.

I like to fish a lot so would love to try out the Fishing game.  I also love ping pong.  If the game is any bit as fun as wii sports then I can’t wait to try it.  I am a non-gamer mom who loves simple active games.

Used Wii Fit In Stock; get it for less

Right now it is hard to find a wii fit for sale anywhere.  They are out of stock most places but you can still find wii fit in stock here.  If you don’t want to pay extra for a wii fit then you may want to consider buying a used wii fit.  A used wii fit will probably look and work as well as a new one since the game has not been out for long.

Wii fit is not only a good way to work out, it is also a good way to learn some yoga and to have fun playing games while exercising.  You can also use the wii fit board to play the wii ski game.  The wii ski game is also a fun way to get moving since you are trying to “ski” down a slalom slope with your character and will forget that you are doing something that is good for your health and balance at the same time.  That is the best type of exercise of all….both good for mind AND body.

I personally love tennis and find that I forget that I am exercising when I am playing it.  I look forward to getting a wii sports game  with the tennis wii sports controllers so I can play it on rainy days when I can’t afford to pay the $20 indoor tennis fee they have here in my town.  You can also buy these other wii games used if you don’t want to pay the new price.  I bought a whole set of old nintendo games for my daughter used when she was young and they worked just fine.

wii fit in stock on eBay September 2008

Wii fits and wii systems are in short supply again.  Luckily you can still find wii fit in stock here.  You can buy the wii system alone or the wii fit game plus system as a package.  Prices are a bit over suggested retail price since supplies are limited, however.

I was down at the store near my house today that sells video games and other items and I decided to buy a wii fit system so I could do better reviews of the game and system.  I was planning to buy one for Christmas for my family anyways since we don’t have any hard core gamers in the family and we like to play games together.  wii is the perfect system for us.  The store was out of wii fits and wii systems so I guess I will order online and have it delivered right to my door.

My husband does not like gaming much but he is a history buff and I was certain that a WWII shooter, Call of Duty 3 wii,  would spark his interest in gaming.  I found out that the wii zapper control is compatible with the wii war game, as I hoped, so that made me want to get the game system even more.  I think I will enjoy playing it with him as well, especially since we have a huge TV for the family to gather around and play the game with.

You can buy wii fit used if you don’t want to pay full price.  Since the game is fairly new they used wii fit should be in fairly good condition and is probably being sold by someone who got it as a gift, needed some quick money or did not find it met their particular needs.

Use Wii Fit Board to Wii Ski: We Ski game from Nintendo

I used to love to ski and skiing games are my favorite at the arcade, so when I heard you could use the wii fit balance board to play a new wii skiing game, I was excited.  Here is a walkthrough of the wii ski game:

If you have a wii fit board you can use it to turn on the slopes and use the nunchuck controller or the wii mote to push with your poles.  You can also play without the wii board, but it definitely adds a lot of realism to the game.

The game uses a giant gray arrow in the sky to show you where the next gate is in your slalom.  You will need this since you often cannot see the gates until it is too late to get to them.

This games costs $30 to $60 depending on whom you buy it from.  Some people package it with the wii fit game so you have the board.

The game looks like a lot of fun.  I think I will add it to my wish list for Xmas.

Wii Rock Band Is Current Number One Seller

The Retail Tracking service has discovered that, in June 2008, wii Rock Band game by MTV/EA was the number one seller.  Guitar Hero was the leader for a long time and wii’s guitar game is now taking over.  This may be due to the non-hardcore gamer nature of wii and the general appeal of the wii Rock Band Game.

Another leg up that Wii has over Xbox is the great controllers that can be purchased.  You can get a realistic guitar controller, like with Guitar Hero, but you can also get a pedal, microphone and drums to make it even more fun and rock star feeling.
The game itself goes for about $50 on Ebay but a Wii Rock Band bundle, including guitar controller, microphone, and drums, goes for $140.  I think this item will be hot for the upcoming gift giving season!  Party ON!
